Club Level Attendant

The Club Floor Attendant is focused on providing efficient service and creating memorable experiences by making emotional connections with all of our guests. In this position, you will have a direct impact on the overall experience of our hotel guests and be responsible for ensuring 100% satisfaction from the moment guests first contact the hotel until their departure. The successful candidate must have a friendly and welcoming attitude with everyone.

The Club Floor Attendant will be responsible for welcoming our guests. Must be extremely knowledgeable of all Hotel information such as; Outlet hours of operation and guest related events such as conventions and meetings. Must be knowledgeable with the local area and be able to provide recommendations on of things to do in the local area.

Another important responsibility is to promote and provide outstanding recognition and benefits to all of our Starwood Preferred Guests. Must be able to uphold the Sheraton Core Values; Warm, Connecting, Community.

This is the ideal position for someone who has a passion for guest service, values problem resolution, and enjoys working in a fast paced environment. Excellent grooming and personal presentation, a friendly personality and a "can do" attitude are essential. The candidate must possess excellent customer service and communication skills, both verbal and written.

This role is best suited for someone who enjoys working independently and desires a challenging and fast paced environment. This role provides a wonderful introduction to the hotel industry as it allows interaction with several areas of the hotel.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Welcoming our Club Level guests to the hotel.
  • Execution of a great guest experience for our Club Level guests.
  • Set up and tearing down of the buffets in the Club Lounge.
  • Communication with other departments in the hotel with a focus of Room Service, Kitchen and Housekeeping.
  • Responsible for ensuring the cleaning and maintenance standards of the Club Level are met.
  • Perform duties associated with a Concierge, for the guests of Club Level.
  • Other duties as assigned by the Manager or Supervisor.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Requires good communications skills, both verbal and written.
  • Must be able to push, pull and lift up to 50lbs repeatedly.
  • Required to stand for long periods of time.
  • Must have "Serving it Right" and "Food Safe" qualifications.
  • Previous guest service experience is an asset.
  • Computer skills relating to Microsoft Office and Internet Explorer required.
  • Excellent guest service and food service skills essential.
